Every single lamp tube we make goes through a high-voltage withstand test (hi-pot) and an insulation check &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;before&lt;/a&gt; it even thinks about leaving our floor.&#xA;Here is how it works: we hit the quartz envelope and the internal electrodes with a voltage way higher than what you&amp;rsquo;ll actually use. Why? Because if there&amp;rsquo;s even a microscopic crack in the quartz or a tiny flaw in the seal, the current will arc.&#xA;It&amp;rsquo;s the only way to catch those &amp;ldquo;leakers.&amp;rdquo; It&amp;rsquo;s much better for us to find a flaw here than for you to find it via a ground fault or a short &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.net&#34;&gt;circuit&lt;/a&gt; the second you plug it into your bench.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
