The Heart of It
Here’s the core of what makes it tick: it’s all about packing a serious amount of heat into a small space. We run it on 400V, pushing a strong current through a compact quartz tube to crank out 2,500W of focused infrared energy. The tube is typically 300mm long, so the heat stays pinpointed right where you need it. No need to warm up the whole factory floor. That intense power in a small package is brilliant, but it comes with a condition. You need a power supply and fusing that are just as tough. The payoff is huge: you get a blast of localized heat, but your machine’s electrical system has to be ready for the load.
Built to Last
We built it with a halogen-filled quartz tube. That halogen chemistry is what keeps the element stable, even when the filament is running white-hot. It means you get steady, reliable performance for thousands of hours. Because the tube runs hotter, it warms up fast and cools down quickly. No lag. It’s responsive. The R7s connector is the standard for this size, and for good reason. It’s a solid, high-temp connection that stays tight, even with constant vibration. We also coat the tube to control how it radiates heat and to shield it from chemical splashes. That coating holds up against cleaning agents and process residue. But, a heads-up: it can chip if you’re not careful during install. Always hold it by the base, never the tube itself.
